Speaking @ Mayville High School & Community Panel

May 9, 2018 @ 1:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The Mayville Area Chamber of Commerce along with the City of Mayville, the Mayville Police Department, the Mayville School District and Stop Heroin Now are proud to bring you an educational and eye opening evening about breaking the silence surrounding drugs, alcohol, suicide, bullying, and mental illness.

Anthony Alavardo, Doug Darby, and Nadine Machkovech, National Speakers with “Rise Together” along with Bev Kelley-Miller from the “Megan Kelley Foundation” and 12 year old Stop Heroin Now advocate, Kellen Geschke will share their stories of loss, hope and recovery.

Along with the presentation, there will be organizations from Dodge County that focus on addiction and recovery on hand to offer resources beginning at 5:00 pm at the gym entrance.

Mayville High School students grades 9-12 will receive a similar program in the afternoon that will not be open to the public. Families are encouraged to come together in the evening, including students that saw the afternoon presentation. Parents, please use your discretion when it comes to children, as the subject matter will be difficult but appropriate for those who have been touched by these issues.
